died April 14, 2004 in Eagan, Minnesota)

Constance Marie Stoep
(born December 18, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota;
died September 11, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota)
They married on July 25, 1945 after Richard returned from serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Connie died during the polio epidemic seven years later.
